My plea to the masses: "selfies" don't have to be done with a bathroom mirror, or even using a tripod. Using a flip-out, forward-facing camera monitor is most helpful, but it's really all about the light. This was made using a Canon G1-X, so iPhone users have an even easier job. A window casting light usually does the trick, followed by a modicum of post-processing.
