Guadalupe Dunes No. 2—A dune formation just north of the Santa Maria River and county line from the Santa Barbara County town of Guadalupe. This photograph was made on my first or second roll of (medium format) film shot from my airplane shortly after it was purchased in 2002. This is the same formation seen in "Guadalupe Dunes No. 1"; same roll of film, same flight but from a different angle. This photograph won a First Place category award in the early 2000s in a San Luis Obispo County Museum of Art photography exhibition jurored by George Lepp.
